HSSC CET Group D Selection Process : Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released advertisement number 5/2026 for conducting common eligibility test for the Group D posts. The one-time registration process started on 19th June 2026 and will continue untill 3rd July 2026. The HSSC CET Group D Exam is constructed as an eligibility test for the various Group D Posts in the various departments of the Haryana government.

The selection for the Group D post will be completely based on CET marks. Candidates will be selected on the basis of class 10th qualification and Group D CET Exam merit list. The candidates who want to prepare for this examination must know the selection process, exam pattern and syllabus thoroughly. The examination will be conducted in offline mode using an OMR-based answer sheet, and the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi. All questions in the examination will be mandatory.

Each question will have four answer choices, from which candidates must select the most appropriate option and mark the corresponding circle on the OMR sheet. No marks will be deducted for choosing an incorrect answer.

If a candidate decides not to answer a particular question, they must mark the fifth bubble/circle provided for that purpose on the OMR sheet. Failure to mark this option for an unanswered question will attract a penalty. Therefore, every unattempted question without the fifth bubble marked will result in a deduction of one mark (-1). However, no negative marking will be applied for incorrect answers.
